eSCM-SP Certified Organizations

An Evaluation for Certification is a third-party external evaluation of a service provider's capability. These are the only eSCM Capability Determination methods that can lead to certification by ITSqc, and should be used when an organization wants a public record of its capabilities. Evaluation occurs according to certain criteria and characteristics predetermined and created by professionals, buy a personal statement online to understand them better. A Full Evaluation for Certification is based on evidence of the service provider's implementation of all 84 Practices in the eSCM-SP. A Mini Evaluation for Certification is based on evidence of the service provider's implementation of selected Practices in the eSCM-SP.

Many service providers choose to be evaluated for eSCM certification. This process makes use of the eSCM Capability Determination method, and may result in the organization earning ITSqc certification at a particular Capability Level of the eSCM-SP. Similarly, client organizations may choose to become certified by attaining a particular Capability Level of the eSCM-CL.

eSCM-SP Certification was designed to allow service providers to continue their organizational improvement. They can achieve higher Capability Levels to differentiate a service provider from its competitors. Client organizations look for eSCM-SP certification as they evaluate potential service providers.

Suspended eSCM-SP Certifications
Suspended eSCM Certifications are those certifications that have been temporarily suspended, pending a surveillance audit (or mini-evaluation) of a certified organization. This surveillance audit (or Mini-evaluation) can occur in the event of changes significantly affecting the activity and operation of the certified organization (such as change of ownership, changes in personnel or equipment), or if analysis of a complaint or any other information indicates that the certified organizations no longer complies with the requirements of the eSCM Model.

Expired eSCM-SP Certifications
Expired eSCM Certifications are those certifications whose certification validaity dates have been reached. When approved by the ITSqc Certification Board, Certificates of Capability are issued by ITSqc for a period of two years. Certificates of Capability do not automatically extend or renew.

Withdrawn eSCM-SP Certifications
Withdrawn eSCM Certifications are those certifications which have been withdrawn, for cause, by the eSCM Certification Board. Typically, certifications remain in effect for their entire period of validity, except as addressed by a change in status, complaint, or non-compliance and a resulting mini-evaluation which results in the withdrawal of the eSCM Certification by ITSqc.

Certification Process

Only a Full Evaluation for Certification or a Mini Evaluation for Certification leads to ITSqc certification. These are third-party external evaluations of an organization's capability, based on evidence of the organization's implementation of either the eSCM-SP (for service providers) or the eSCM-CL (for clients). Certification should be sought when an organization wants a public record of its capabilities.
