Pittsburgh, PA , January 15, 2012 - The Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) (Banco Inter-Americano de Desarollo - BID)
has awarded an exciting project with PROEXPORT COLOMBIA for ITSqc, LLC. With IDB support,
the PROEXPORT trade promotion agency is working with ITSqc, the
creators of the eSCM-SP and eSCM-CL models, to build training and evaluation capacity in the
Andean region.
This project aims to develop resources to support wide-spread
adoption of the eSourcing Capability Models (eSCM-SP and eSCM-CL)
by ITO, BPO, and KPO providers and their clients within in Bolivia,
Colombia, Ecuador,
and Peru. A major aspect of
the project is to enable service providers to become certified with this globally
recognized "best practices" model.
Recommended by Tholons, PROEXPORT and IDB selected ITSqc
to bring these models to Colombia initially and then to neighboring
countries. As part of this initiative, instructors and evaluators are
being trained and authorized by ITSqc to teach courses and conduct
organizational diagnostics with the eSCMs. Five of these regional experts
are already offering official ITSqc courses in Spanish and will be available
to assist adopting organizations with self-appraisals as well as evaluations
for certification. Early adopters of the eSCM-SP include Carvajal Servicios
y Tecnologia.

the eSourcing Capability Models. The eSourcing Capability Models were originally

client and advisory organizations.
