The eSCM-CL is a best practices model created to improve the global eSourcing market by creating a dedicated model for the industry while defining standardized activities and measures. The documents of the eSCM-CL detail the implementation and use of the model by client organizations but are written for anyone interested in understanding the practice of eSourcing.
The Model was first released in September 2006, and released globally in book form in 2009. The eSCM-CL is in use by a variety of organizations worldwide. A complementary model - the eSCM-SP - was developed centering on the issues of sourcing by service providers.
The following is a continually growing set of documents about the Model. It includes
books and technical reports about the Model itself and other resources relevant to the Model. Other publications will be made available here as they become available.
